About the PHC
Pointing Towards Progress
Established in 1950 The Pontiac Housing Commission (PHC) administers federal and state funded rental assistance programs for low-income families, elderly, and disabled persons in the Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan area. We also administer the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and various Homeownership and Resident Service Programs. We provide assistance to over 1100 families.
The Mission of the PHC is a business committed to excellence through an effective and efficient process in providing quality housing, and creating an environment which will provide our customers opportunity, access to resources, and the expectation that our communities will be safe, secure places to live, and for residents to realize their full potential and new beginnings.
Our People
Our staff, as well as our Board is committed to helping our residents to have access to safe, affordable, quality housing; we want to see our residents reach their goals.
